A/C smell?

RE: A/C smell?
Most likely caused by bacteria growth in the A/C duct.
There are several products on the market that can be used to eliminate this odor.
To keep it from reoccurring it is best to turn the A/C switch to off and the blower on high for several minutes prior to shutting the vehicle off to dry the system and prevent further contamination.

It's very easy to do yourself.
There are many products out there that can kill the bacteria, look at your local auto parts store for brands designed for automotive use.
You can also use Lysol but it smells bad so you’ll have to run the A/C blower on high for a while to purge the odor before taking a drive.
What you want to do is to put the A/C on high blower and draw air in from outside (recirc off) then spray the product into the fresh air inlet between the hood and windshield on the passenger side, I would remove the black plastic trim before doing this so you get good coverage and the product doesn’t damage the plastic.
