California vehicle issues
2001 GMC Yukon XL 1500 SLT - California vehicle
Titled and operated in New Mexico
This needs a new intake manifold gasket.
As opposed to the EGR valve being mounted on the left side of the intake manifold, it sits on its own pedestal mount to the left of the engine. There appears to be a hard pipe (copper?) from the EGR valve into the port where the EGR valve would mount on a 48-states version.
Anyone know how you're supposed to move the pipe out of the port to get the manifold out to replace the gasket?
Thanks.
