I understand that. Thats said, I am not trying to raise a ruckus or become "johnny-law", but if the OP is in a campground, he is still on public-use property, not his own property where this wouldn't be an issue. In this day and age, if anything "bad" should happen, he could be sued. If he busts up his half ton vehicle, well, that's on his dime. Just dont want to see him damage his vehicle or anything, trying to tow an overweight trailer. I am not a police officer. I just want to help a fellow Chevy owner keep out of trouble.
