Hi Fred. My name is Mike. I just replaced shocks and compressor on my 2005 Tahoe. I got the parts from Suncore Industries in Florida. My compressor was on the outside of the frame rail on the driver side. Couldn't miss mine. Not sure if yours would be same place. Only 3 bolts holding it on. Sun ore had remanufacture shocks a lot cheaper then the dealer. They have been working fine for me. If I can be anymore help email me at mmorton9@yahoo.com. Good luck
