Arrow Car alarm sounds when tailgate glass opens

I was wondering why this was happening. When you use the key to unlock the tailgate glass, then open it (all other doors are locked), the car alarm goes off. Why is this happening? Is there a way to undo it? Thanks,

Zack

Welcome to the forum,
Is it factory alarm or aftermarket?

Thanks!
Its the factory alarm. I was thinking its unusual that you cant open the glass with out the alarm.
