Default Cargo Area Add Tie Downs 2013 Tahoe?

I think this is the spot where the cargo net hooks are supposed to go (Mine didn't come with them)? I would like to add tiedowns to this spot. Does anyone know what is directly under this spot (ideally a threaded hole)? Looks like a bit of work to remove the panel just to take a look. Any info is appreciated!

I'm sure it's just a plastic trim piece with nothing behind it or reinforcing it. Yes, that's where the cargo cover goes.

Not sure I'd be comfortable with any type of "tie down" that wasn't firmly attached to the frame or some kind of beefy metal. What's wrong with the floor tie-downs?

Nothing wrong with the existing tie downs. I used the D rings in that upper location in my jeep to secure tall 6 gallon water jugs. Straight from one side to the other side right through the handles of the jugs. No chance of tipping when secured from the top. Worked perfectly, I'll just have to find something as secure using what's there.

Yeah, these trucks don't have roll bars in the rear cargo area.

What about the LATCH tethers in the third row seat? Those are pretty solid.
