Cargo Boxes
Do any of you have experience with cargo boxes?
I amplanning to take a few roadtrips with my family in the coming year and as we all know, the Tahoe does not have an abundance of storage space when all 3 rows of seating are in place. After doing some reasearch, I have concluded the roof mounted boxes are a bit too inconvenient for regular access so I am looking at the hitch-mounted alternatives and I think I like the swing-away feature to facilitate easy access to the tailgate.
I havefound three that look interesting - any insight you can provide on these or other alternatives would be appreciated:
Rola 59109 Adventure System
Thule 684 Terrapin
Stowaway2 Max Swingaway

My brother has a Stowaway box. He's brought it along on a few of our camping trips, and it's great. In comparison to the Thule box, it's a lot bigger and the swingaway model is very convenient for loading and unloading the back of the Tahoe.
The roof mount ones would provide a slight advantage for "security" in that they are a bit more difficult to access and are more obvious if someone where digging thru it.
The receiver ones are more convienant as long as your not needing the receiver for any other carrier such as bicycles or your bumper dumper...
