Default Changed Rear Main Seal, cant go forward or reverse

I hope I have some luck on here.
So I had an oil leak On my 2001 Chevy Tahoe 5.3l V8 LS. I did the dye test and determined it was the rear main seal
So the next day I dropped drive shaft ,Trans, and exhaust. Replaced the rear main seal. I buttoned everything back up. The only thing I think I messed up is I took off the Torque converter completely to change the front seal on transmission. The TC lost alnost all fluid. The 2 sensor on shift actuator were extremely hard to push back in. In this process. So I button back up, fill with trans fluid, and turn it over. It makes a wierd noise for about 30 seconds and then runs normally. I get in and put in reverse . .... nothing. drive ...... nothing.... meaning I wasnt able to move. The shift actuator is moving when Im shifting. It stays in park while in park and I can push it while I am in neutral. The car would not move in 1,2,3 either. I am reading that I have enough fluid on dip stick. Any input on where to start with troubke shooting?

Welcome to the forum.

Did you check the fluid level after the tranny filled the TC? May not be enuf to actuate the clutches.

I am not sure what you mean. I put about 8 quarts of trans fluid in through the dip stick. Then I started the truck and let it run . Dip stick is reading full. I think pump might of burned out when I started with no fluid in the torque converter
