Default changing the original radio into a kennwood or...

i want to change the original radio into a sony or kennwood etc.
my question is
is ther a chance to keep the switsches on the steering?
do they work with the new radio?
i thing i will ned a special interface, kabel what ever for it?
where can i get it?

You can keep the steering wheel swithches. I installed a Kenood DNX6180 nav. unit in my suburban however i hardly ever use the steer. wheel switches so i didnt hook it up.

and u can keep the door / signal chimes

Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, LCD TV, Digital Cameras has a LOT of info.

expensive stuff, but good info.
