I have a 2004 Tahoe that will not fill up with gas. I replaced the vent solenoid and it still has the issue. my question is if the charcoal canister has charcoal coming out of it can I blow it out and it still work????

 

nope. remove the canister, blow out ALL OF THE EVAP LINES and fresh air hose, purge lines, replace the canister, vent filter, change over the vent solenoid


for proper filling; the tank vent path must be clear. the vent path is: out the tank to the cannister...out the vent solenoid...out to the vent filter...
