Default Cheap door handles on a $65,000? Why no recall?

My 2010 LTZ has 2 outside doorhandle broken and the inside passager door is razor sharp that cuts fingers when trying to open door. Why hasnt Chevy recalled this issue when it is clear by the amount of threads across the internet on forums that my SUV is not the only one? The so called service dept at the local GMC and Chevy dealerships want over 300.00 just to fix the outside doors and that is only for labor. The parts are somewhere between 30-60 dollars each. Chevy knows this is a problem yet refuses to address it. Whats it going to take? Someone getting trapped because the doors wont open and they end up dead before this issue gets your attention? Can your company really afford to lose a customer willing to pay top dollar for a SUV for it to be made with cheap parts from China on a American made car? Your customers are some of the most loyal but I am really starting to wonder when I trade my HD 2500 in next year it will be on a Ford F250.

Fix it yourself and don't worry about it. Get a new handle on Amazon for like $12.

Good luck with the Ford. You will need it.
