If you put the gearshift in 2nd only, does it remain the same rpm at hi rpm's?

Yes I've never noticed even a blip on 2nd. Have had it screaming at times really high RPM because I was on the interstate and couldn't afford to safely go below 50 mph and has been rock solid.

Default Wiring Harness

For anyone still interested in helping me with this ......

They are now checking out the wiring harness. I was told that they discovered some loss of voltage in the wiring and were able to narrow it down to a certain section of the wiring.

They allegedly got the schematics on Wednesday and here it is Friday and they are still "working on it".

Thoughts anyone?

If it were me working on it, I'd disconnect the wires from both ends of the cps, check continuity, and to ground. I'd also put an O scope on it, with it running, and look at the sine wave, and amplitude from the cps.

Hello everyone

Well I had a very good winter with no problems at all. Our first couple warm days in Maryland and my issue seems to have reappeared almost immediately.

To recap:

- Engine Stutters ONLY in gears 3 and 4
- Absolutely no problem in Gear 1 and 2
- It has to be warm. Engine has to be warmed up and outside temp has to be 75+
- There has to be a decent load. 6+ Adults, full tank of gas, going up hills ... or any combination of those.

Anyone have any ideas at all? Please?
