Default Need help with RATS chewing wires...

I have a 2002 3.8L and found the wires directly under engine cover chewed. The main section is from the plug that is right next to the 3 plug wires going over the valve cover.

Any idea what those wires are to? I am going to a yard to try and find the section I need. Does anyone sell a complete harness for the engine that I can install or is it a dealer item.

The car runs ok..although a few wires are hanging on by a thread.

Thanks in advance for any help

harness is expensive. so just replace what wires were damaged and stop parking over sewer grates.

larlev, you may want to search around for some Honda 4019-2317 rodent tape. I guess it leaves a bad taste in their mouths

I agree with RACERX. The only thing I can add is to use heat shrink tubing instead of electrical tape.
