Cleaning question..
Here, it is around $10 for a car wash and I actually enjoy washing my Tahoe myself,so I would like to know what you guys recommend is great for cleaning the exterior, maybe products that give it a "wet" shine, etc. Also, I would like to know what you recommend for cleaning the leather with. What I use currently [for both] is Armor-all, inside and out. But what do you suggest?
Go to www.adamspolishes.com and order everything you need there. I do not work for them, rather I am loyal customer and have been buying waxes, polishes, and towels from them for 15 years or so. There are also great "how to" videos there.
Based on your signature, you have a couple of black vehicles so you should not cheap out on your cleaning products! I have had 3 black, one dark blue, and 1 red car, and have learned the hard way what to use and not to use. Just buy Adam's stuff and you will not be disappointed! Oh, and stay away from car washes as much as possible, they are destructive to your car's finish!

I use Turtle wax car wash but use Duragloss wet shine polish the CCP 111 http://www.duragloss.com/catalog.asp?catid=89and it really does leave a wet look shine.
I use Armorall for the trip plastics and a combination of WD-40 and Armorall for the engine bay.
I clean the engine with Simple Green and yes my engine looks as clean as it did from the day i got it, I power wash the underside of the vehicle every couple of months.
I get lots of compliments from the oil change guys and the service folks when I take it in, my hope is if they see I take care of it they will return the favor and do a good job also...
