Exclamation Clock is blank - no digits - 2011 Tahoe Infotainment Navigation Radio

Suddenly saw there were no digits displaying on the screen in the upper right corner of the Infotainment System screen. Also no digits displayed when system power turned off. It used to display the HH:MM time on the power off screen. Selected menu to set the time, but no digits displayed. Pushing hour up or down or minutes up or down or 12/24 hour buttons had no effect. No audio CD in device. Retrieved and reinserted Nav data CD with no issues. Any suggestions? Is there a way to do a factory reset?

if it's like the 09 I had, try holding the power button for a while.
or, if all else fails, pop the fuse for a while, or disconnect GROUND from battery for 30 min.

Tried disconnecting battery. Search on the interweb pulled up a Youtube video that showed how to access the hidden service menu on the infotainment system that had a "Set Time" menu. I set the time there and now seems to be working. Will see if it blanks out again.
