Default Clock stays one hour behind

I have a 2003 Tahoe. For a while now I would set me clock and every time I turn the ignition off and restart the vehicle the clock falls back an hour. So I found on the forum how to reset the clock going into the menu and putting in a passcode. That worked for a while. Now no matter how I set the clock it always falls back an hour. Now that will be fine when the time changes :-) but I have to set the clock every time I get in the vehicle. Can anyone help?

Sounds like Arizona - most folks here don't understand daylight savings time (guess no 13-hour clocks here !!!). Arizona did try DST one year in the late 1960s, no longer in effect.

Jennifer - I would try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 30 minutes to clear the computer, then re-attach and try. Unless someone has a real fix for this.
