My suburban makes a clunking sound going over bumps. The dealer found PIT5477A that talks about the jounce bumper being too tight on the strut piston rod. I’m under an extended warranty that doesn’t cover shocks/struts...but this is not a shock/strut wear item. Any thought on whether I can argue this to be covered under warranty?

 

the contract you signed should have a long list of fine print detailing what is covered.

the dealership runs the part number into a system and it tells them if its covered or not.
