I'd try it. its been a long time since i worked for gm so things may have changed. I have installed used modules on older stuff. there will be a vin mismatch but it should not cause any problems. Its not a pcm or theft module so it may work straight off. A dealer can flash it if required. expect a 1 hour labour charge for programming.

Another partial update:
Replaced brake switch and every single light and message on the gauge cluster went away except for the "Service Suspension System" message. I honestly don't care at this point the truck drives as it did before the module failed haha. I'll try to remember to get back and update when I actually replace the ESC module but I'm surprised how little of a difference it even makes. I'm gonna throw it on the back burner for now but in all intents and purposes, I deem my burban finally fixed
