I just thought someone else might find this helpful, since I had a heck of time figuring it out for myself. I recently bought a 2022 Suburban LT (which I love), but didn't want to pay the exorbitant cost to keep OnStar past its one month free trial. When it first expired, I tried using the Map function from the home screen like I did with OnStar, but it just shows the map without the ability to find an address. I finally found out the answer is to download the "Android Auto" app to your smart phone, and then access the Android Auto function from the cars home screen. That syncs with your phone, and then the navigation works just fine. See attached picture.
