First Tahoe since originally wanting one back in 2001. Even though I'm only a month into ownership, can't say that I'm displeased with this truck. Go get yourself one and enjoy it!

Have had mine since April. I have 13000 miles on it. A couple issues, rear window moldin and had to have the nav/radio replaced. But there is nothing like a clean black LTZ cruising down the highway. Turns alot of heads.
Great comfort.

Glenn,
I picked up my LTZ on 9/25 and never looked back. It has been great! It has by far the best initial build quality of any new vehicle I have purchased. The only problem I have experienced is the rear window trim popping loose. Considering the number of systems, wires, computers and pure sophistication that goes into this vehicle, I'm very happy with the quality. I'm at 6000 miles and going strong. Compared to my 2003 2500HD Crewcab and wife's 2004 Trailblazer, I see improvements in virtually every area.
10 years ago I think GM's quality did lag other manufacturers, but read any long-term test review (Motor Trend, Car and Driver) and you'll see that all brands have their issues. The Tahoe is key to GM's survival and they will take care of you if you do run into any issues, which you probably won't.
I agree with the other posts, the Internet tends to bring out the worst in people, you hear every issue/complaint/problem. For every complaint you have 10's if not 100's of "silent observers" who are 100% satisfied with their purchase/decision.
Go for it, you won't be disappointed!

Gentlemen
New to the forum so please forgive questions that have been heard before. I'm wondering if there is a fix for the rear control panel illumination. My kids can't see what the contols do. Any experiences with this. Quite pleased with truck overall.
Thanks for your time. Regards, Charles.

Charles welcome to the forum
On the 07 if the rear entertainment control lights are out I believe the panel has to be replaced... I know it has been discussed in the past but I haven't been able to locate the post for the part and symptoms.
