Default Constantly Shifting

Hey guys. New here. Just crossed over from the dark side. Had to sell my 06 F250 power stroke. The wife is expecting our third and the crew cab just isn't big enough anymore.
So I picked up this 07 Burban last week. Love the wagon so far. But I have noticed when I'm driving at a steady 35 mph, the tranny shifts from 4th to O.D. nonstop. You cant really feel it, but the tach bounces 300 to 400 rpm and you can hear the engine revving. When I hold it at 40 mph, it jumps about 100 rpm. Its starting to annoy me and I was wondering if anyone had the same issue. Should I take it to the dealer for a reflash? Would that be covered, under the powertrain warranty?

In my experience, you may just need to get familiar with the vehicle and it's sweet spots on the throttle, the vehicle will also adjust to your driving style.

bmur: Welcome to the forum. My '07 doesn't do that at all, never did. Might want to get it check out. Might be a tranny software update.

Around town, I always have mine in drive, only time I use OD is on the freeway...288k on a 4L60, it must like it! It really shouldn't be shifting into OD @ 35MPH...
