I'm new to Chevy but I'm a full time mechanic on forklifts. I'm wanting to convert my 06 tahoe with the 5.3 to shut down cylinders on the interstate. It seems like it'd be fairly easy, only adding the special lifters, solenoid, 1 relay, changing the ECM and pinning in 2 wires. Can someone who's good on these systems shed some light for me?
