One method with out splicing into hoses is to open thevalve at the bottom of the rad. drain the coolant.
Fill the rad with water ( close the drain valve first ) run the engine to operating temp. and move the heat control to heat ( you don't need to turn the fan on ).
Let it cool down a bit beforeremoving the rad cap and drain the rad again... then fill up the cooling system with the right mixture of coolant... done.

Well I use a machine flush. It sucks everything out from the bottom up and then it uses the vaccuum that was created to suck the new coolant into it.

Get some new Dex Cool on your arms. It will burn your skin. It's got a high acidity level from the get go. It eats away head gaskets and rusts out the radiator pretty quickly. It says it lasts 100,000 miles yet I have not seen a car with 100,000 miles with dex cool that still tests good. Why do the 3.1 and 3.8 always have coolant leaks from the intake manifold. The 4.2L and the 2.2L is notorious for having blown head gaskets. People who power flush their coolant systems and put in either the green or the preston universal anti freeze test good till their recomended intervals. (Green is recomended for 60,000 and the prestone is good for 150,000)

Oh not to mention it builds up more solid particles than the two other antifreezes and that's why the low coolant float always sticks when Dex Cool is used.
