Default Cracked rim, and repair

A few months ago current wife had the TPMS light come on with the 2014 Yukon Denali (ours since late 2022), RR tire was down below threshold psi. She took the tire in to Discount Tire, and they patched it for free. Yesterday, the light for RR came on again, tire was 7psi lower than it should be, I sprayed bubble solution on it and could not find the leak, so I drove it up to Discount Tire. It turns out the rim has a small crack in its inner edge, see photo #1. This crack may have been a second leak a few months ago but wasn't noticed. I cannot blame wife for breaking the rim, even though her driving scares the hell out of me.

So Monday I'm taking it to a wheel repair shop to get it repaired, $125 plus $20 to mount and balance it.

A new "replica" non-matching wheel (through Discount Tire) is at least $250 with re-mounting and balancing. I looked on Ebay for a matching wheel, found none. The wheel is still available new, found one for $388 shipped ! https://www.fitmentindustries.com/bu...n=Leveling+Kit

So that's why I'm having the wheel repaired. https://www.dentwizard.com/locations/phoenix-az/

Sounds like the repair was the way to go.
