Dead space between 2nd row captain's seats when down
I have a 2018 Suburban with 2nd row captains chairs and several large dogs.
I like to keep the 2nd and 3rd rows down most of the time so the dogs have more space, but I haven't figured out a good way to fill in the gaps in front of and between the seats, so they are not constantly falling into those abysses.
I would prefer something non-damaging that I could leave there and am willing to make it, but would much prefer to buy it.
What does everybody else do?
thanks

FIRST POST! Build 5-sided custom plywood box that fits in there and cover the entire row with carpet to create a seamless look and they don't get their paws caught or you can use the cargo bay's floor matt instead of buying carPET. Add handles to the "filler" for easy in-n-out.

Mrs. Cusser's two cocker spaniels sit on the seats, and have doggy seat belts.
