DIC Lighting Issue
I have searched for an answer to this, but the tool does not allow a search for "DIC"..
Anyway... 07 Suburban. DIC is fine during the day. When the lights turn on at night, I can vaguely see "PRN" (Park, Reverse, Neutral..) beneath the tach. The left side display (beneath the speedometer) is completely dark. I'm hoping that this is a common & easy DIY fix, but I have a feeling that it involves dash removal & whatnot. Any ideas/threads that may help?
Thanks!

By IP, you mean instrument panel? Yes. Speedo, tach and all of the gauges are lit just fine and respond to the IP backlighting adjustment.
Like I said, the DIC is completely blank when the headlights are on.
Gear selection (P R N D 2 1) is partially lit. P is lit up, it starts to fade on the R, and is almost completely faded on the N.

Not sure if there's multiple bulbs for the tranny indicator but I think the DIC is a LED, LCD, or a flourescent display so it may have gone Tango Uniform.
