Do Knock-Outs Exist
Do the new Suburbans & Tahoes have the knock-outs, in the front end, that have to be removed before a front-end alignment can be done? My '96 had them and I had to pay an extra $125 bucks just to have them removed before its first front end alignment. I still don't understand, to this day, what purpose they served. (kind of like tonsils!). Just curious if I'm going to have to deal with that again when my new Burb gets its first alignment.
The only one I have seen in was there because Trick Trucks put a Leveling kit on. Mine had really worn tires on it which I purchased it,so it was on the rack when first got it. As long as the tires are wearing OK and the truck drives straight it does not need to be done.
