In 2010 and 2011 tahoes and suburbans, some have chrome topped
Door guard moldings and some don't . I know if you bought the LTz models
Or went with the bright package you got them. Can you buy just
The chrome top or do you need a whole new molding.

I do not like the chrome door handles or grilles

 

I'm pretty sure you'd have to buy the entire molding w/ the chrome on it.

Most of those parts require painting. I do not think you would paint around the chrome.


Unless they come factory painted.

 

I was looking for same thing and Found some on ebay. It's listed as chevy chrome belt trim. It goes for 24 bucks aside. That is if you still need it.

 

"chrome" lol. that's funny... it's been PLASTIC for years... let's call it what it is.

i just look at one looks like there a grove in the molding where the crome strip sits in give it the flush look so the chrome does not stick out more then the molding. Dont look like you can buy the chrome strip buy itself from gm. It might come with a film over the chrome so you can paint the molding. LOOK like 170.00 each
