Door Lock Issue 1999 SUBURBAN

I can not unlock my rear driver door. The lock lever is frozen and the electric lock will not unlock, nor can I unlock manually. Any suggestions????

You might go by a locksmith shop, one that does vecicles. They may be able to open the door with a slim jim or some other device. Then you can put the trim panel off the door and see what's the problem.

I just checked on the lock again and now it works?????? Could cold weather effect the locking mechanism?

YES MOISTURE COULD FREEZE AND LOCK SYSTEM UP CHECK THE WEATHER STRIP AND WATER DRAINS AND MAKE SURE NO WARER IS GETTING INTO LOCKS
