Default Driver door squeak

I've been noticing sort of a squeaky noise coming from the front driver's door, especially when going over imperfections in the road and with the radio off. Does anyone else notice this? I'm used to the third light rattle every so often but this driver door squeaking can get a little annoying. I also felt the driver door not closing as smoothly as usual and I found a loosesilver boltwhere the driver door attaches to thelower hinge. It then closed normally after I tightened it. I don't know if that has anything to do with the squeaking. Thanks for any ideas or observations that you may have.

BTW, it's an 07 LT3 Z71 4x4

I had a rattle that seemed to be coming from the driver door area. I brought mine in and they found a loose bracket in the door behind the driver. I believe it was a bracket inside the door for the window. After three trips to the dealer, they fixed it.

Push down on the back of the arm rest...I had one and it was driving me crazy..when you push down on the armrest the plastic panels squeek...mine would do the same when driving over imperfection. Open the door and push down on the armrest...it could be where the plastic meets the door metal. If that is it, just spray some silicone where the plastic meets the metal...

You probably have worn hinge pins / bushings on your door hinge. Replacing them is the best answer, but in the meantime, you can quiet the squeak with some grease or wd-40 on the hinge pins.

Possibly, but hard to believe they would get worn on an '07 since they should last years and years...

on a new truck...seriously, and wd 40 will fix it for a bit but anything like that attracts dust and **** and will eventually make it worse....most likely just a loosescrew like you found, my malibu backed off a bit as well I noticed one day and after tightening all is fixed, has not backed off again, all the ones I have sold I have not had any problems with and no one here seems to have any problems very awsome machine....

Most likely is caused by the weather-stripping rubbing against the door, the application of DuPont Krytox to the rubber door weather-strip normally will eliminate the noise. Silicone grease is less expensive and works well but it requires more frequent applications and can be messier.

Our squeak was the weather stripping, the dealer realigned the door and replaced the stud that the door latches into. To be honest, it did come back again, I think I will try the grease this time.

I had an old tube of BMW weatherstriping grease (Silicone) which I appliedand it has gotten rid of the squeaking. Thanks to all that replied!
