Dumb Question - Any problems adding an aftermarket amp to Tahoe hybrid?
I bought all of the components to replace the factory Bose system.
However, will there be any issues adding an aftermarket amp to a Tahoe hybrid? (like Alpine PDX-5)
I assume everything should be fine but do not know what all shuts off when in battery mode.
Anyone know?
Should I be worried at all or should everything be similar to if it was a standard Tahoe?
Thanks!

This vehicle is one you should not add aftermaket amps or any electronics. Any additions will definatly void your warranty.
The vehicle isdesigned to work mainly of of electricity (300 volts for propulsion) and limited 12 volts for AC/ Radio.

Ok, I spoke to a dealer about it. There should be no issues at all. The 12v battery powers the radio and AC, etc and can power an amp...it never shuts off, even when the 300v battery is running.
I also know someone who did similar work on an Escalade hybrid.
I will report back, after I have it installed.
Fingers crossed!
