Default DVD Headrest Wiring Cables

Hello Everyone,
I am new to this site. I have search this website to see if get instructions on how to replace the cables that are connected to the headrest DVD. I took out the DVD headrest from an old my car. But I did not uninstall it properly. I basically pulled the headrest out as far as possible then cut the cables. Now I would like to install it on another car but I need to replace the cables first. Can this be done? My old car was totalled and I had limited time to get my belongings out of the car. Thank you in advanced for your help.

Welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you'll need to get a new cable. Not sure if you can do it w/o removing the seat back cover tho. Might check w/ some local installers.

Thanks Shark. But I already cut the cable from the old car. I did not have time to pull the back cover of the seat. So I pulled the headrest as far as possible then cut the cables. Can the cables be replace?

Thanks again,

Contact the DVD manu. or GM if it's one of theirs. Should be able to get a cable(s). Or as I said before, contact a local installer.
