Edge Evolution EEC2200 FYI

RE: Edge Evolution EEC2200 FYI
Just got mine installed. Called on the new pod and was told about it'd ship as soon as they had them. I set it to performance, left the next morning for Montana. Ended up about 480 miles per tank 90% freeway driving with some mountain passes. We drove the same route last year, and to my recolection I got about 450ish miles per tank. Could be from the program, could be from a lot of things.

I just filled up with premium and put the edge on extreme. WOW!!! What a difference!! We are still working on the Economy tune. I am going to run the truck on economy tomorrow with premium, and I will see what happens.

RE: Edge Evolution EEC2200 FYI
New at this so here goes,
Have had an Edge Evolution installed for about 5 months, a little gain in economy setting 1 1/2 mph, but with 93 octain and programed in extreme I get 16.5 to 17.3 just in town minimal stop and go, reset it and highway was 21.5 @68mphheres the tough one 22.3 @78mph both on th flat highway. ( can't explain the 22.3 go figure) Also an Airaid Jr with factory air box. test was a/c on, loaded 07 LTZ, 18,680 mileage wife and large dog and third row seats in,on Tahoe at the time and easy stop and go, no stabbing it. Cruise set on highway.
Bill
P.S looked at an 08 Mercedes Benz today 3.5 4Matic loaded. I'll keep my Tahoe, Under 60 a better ride more agile. I guess I didn't realize just how nice the Tahoe is and is has all options avail. Took it for granted.
