Electric Running Boards?

Oddly enough the retractable side steps are one thing that has worked without issue. They get great looks in parking lots. I honestly do not like the look of the stock boards.
I also noticed that the LTZ's that I looked at with the retracts did not have DVD systems in them. I added a 10" DVD aftermarket fairly cheap though.

I have a 2015 crew cab Z71. I bought GM powered running boards off a guy that had a 2013 LTZ. Do I just need a wiring harness to make them work on my truck or will I need to hardwire them? Any information would help

Retractable step assist
They're called Power Retractable Assist Steps, and they're a factory option on the LTZ. The RPO code is BRS, and they'll add another $1,095 to the sticker.

We bought a 2014 Yukon Denali in November, had these, kept hitting us in the shins. It turned out that there is a switch on the dash to disable those, couldn't find that information in the owner's manual at all, took a fuse out to disable them before online help here told me about the switch.
So make sure you really want and need these !
