I finally completed my first project last week. Installing the Escalade/Denali roof rack with cross bars. Overall the installation was a breeze. I did fight with the end caps a little bit, but the total install only took an hour and a half. I should have taken more step by step pictures, but I simply removed the screws from the existing rack and removed the entire rack, including cross rails, all at once. The new rack was a direct bolt-on to the existing holes using the existing bolts...NO DRILLING REQUIRED. Thanks to the superb service that Jeff (jazejeff) provided, I was able to get color matched end caps (they come black from the factory). I believe this included color matched end caps, which even with a Black Tahoe you would want the painted caps sincethey have a matte finish from the factory. Give Jeff a call and he can give you all the details (number in the ebay ad).
