Default Exhaust Kits

Anybody have any recommendations on an exhaust kit for a 09 Tahoe? I don't want anything too loud but just right.

I have a used GM Performance catback exhaust system for sale. It won't fit my 2010. I'll have to check to see if it will fit a 2009.

Just checked and it appears that GM only offered it for 07 & 08.

That means you'll have to go w/ aftermarket setup like Magnaflow, Flow Master, etc.

If you want something not that loud you could go with a 3 chamber exhaust. You can have a local custom exhaust shop bend you up what your looking for.

Default dual

is there a way to do dual exhausts on my 09 tahoe w/out changing much? I like the look of duals, and would a slim, like rectangular tip under the bumper on each side, but I don't want added noise or fakes...

I think you can do some kind of stock exhaust and it wouldnt change much, Only the look. I want performance and the look, so thats why I need to go with Magnaflow if I'm not mistaking.

CoJo561: A perf. exh. will not give you any noticeable perf gain in the rpm range that you spend most of your driving.

STSqrl: Saw a NBS Platinum Esky in the Lowe's parking lot today w/ duals. Had oval tips that were cut half-way into the bumper and then had a little chrome trim to cover the cut edge. Looked great.
