Extended Park feature on 2022 Tahoe
Hi,
How do you disable the extended park feature on a 2022 Tahoe? I tried the "press and hold the start button" but that didn't work. Currently, my Tahoe shuts off after 15 minutes.

Hi,
Thanks for your response. The manual doesn't say how to disable it. So, I contacted the Chevy support desk. They say it cannot be disabled. I was hoping someone in this forum knew of a backdoor fix.

Maybe a canned tune will disable that. Or someone who does tuning can access the PCM to disable that feature. Police vehicles do not have that feature as they have to idle forever to power lights. It's energy saving BS on why they put the idle limit in.
Ask your dealer, they may have an answer. GM support on the phone will not tell you how to disable a ''fuel saving'' feature.
Tell your dealer you're a first responder and you need idle time.
