Face lift and buttlift for Hoe
In addition to the grille install I got the paint I needed to do some exterior work. Bowtie is color matched. I also painted the rear wiper arm assembly.
I removed the arm (lift cap and removed one13mm nut) Then disassembled the arm into three pieces. It just pulls a part at the joint. Normal plastic paint procedure. Cleaned thoroughly, alcohol wipe, adhesive promoter, prime 2X, paint 2X, cleared 3X.I have to wait and buff it up but here are the afters.

WOW! That looks great.
Did you use an air compressor and paint gun to apply the primer/paint/clear?
I would love to do something like this when my tahoe arrives. thanks for sharing

No, just Adhesive promoter from Duplicolor...couldn't find Bullydog and I was impatient. I have primer and clearfrom Paintscratch (leftover) and I bought base-coat from Paintworldinc.com It seems to match real well.

I'm happy with the results for a plastic part. This is right after I took off the tape.I hadn't cleaned up the edges yet. i need to buff later.

Very nice man! I'm painting my bowtie black tomorrow to match my black paint just like you matched yours. Did you do it yourself? I just posted a thread about it.

Looks slick! Are you planning on doing the rear bowtie?
