factory sub

Can you replace the factory sub with a aftermarket sub and would you have to upgrade the factory amp on 2000 Tahoe

It would be better to upgrade the amp. But you could run it with the factoru amp, it would not sound as good

I replaced the sub in my 2002 burban and it sounds like crap with the stock amp.
