Default A few questions

Hello, newbie here. I just bought a used 2012 Burban 1500 LT. This is my first SUV/Truck.
I have a few questions that I have searched for and not found, maybe I'm not looking hard enough lol.

1. I have stock 265/70/17 tires on stockers, can I put 285/70/17 on the stockers? (stock wheels 17x7.5x31mm) Will it have the clearance, even at full turn?
The site's wheel calc states only 1.1" diameter larger and everything else is the same (width wise).
But another wheel calc states (off-site):
1.1" diameter
0.8" wider

Contact patch goes from 10.4" to 11.2"

2. How do I know if I have an auto-leveling system on the vehicle?

TIA!

The auto ride system was only available on the LTZ model.

i'm pretty sure you can go up to that size, but why switch out brand new tires?

actually it says you can do 285/65/17

you can always check discount tire direct

Thanks, I'm gonna try it.
They are not new, got it used with 21,000+ miles on it. Current ones have some feathering on the insides, got an alignment done (dealer stated that was the problem). I'm kind sceptical about that answer.

sorry missed the part that it was pre owned , that's still low mileage for tires should atleast another 10000 miles out of them but i can understand your concern with them feathering
