does any body have any idea were the fuel filter is on a 2004 4.8 tahoe i cant find the in line filter any were ,they want to sell you one but i cant find it under the car or the hood !

 

Its usually under the car, mine is under the driver side frame bar, or under the drivers seat area underneath. hope this helps.

 

nope not there ,you have a tahoe or the 03 2500 with your signature? would love to dee a picture of were it is .

 

Yeah, I have an 04 Tahoe and that is where mine is(next to the transmission). I have herd a rumor that some vehicles dont have fuel filters or they are built into the tank but I thought that was on the newer vehicles.
