I have a 2013 Avalanche and all of a sudden the FM stations are all static. I had an oil pump replaced and sensor and it stated shortly after that. I pulled the antenna off and put it back on and tightened it but no luck. XM and audio input work fine. Brought it to the dealer they said they only think they can do is order a new radio @ $1500 I have an extended warranty with a $50 deductible but they are telling the dealer if the replacement does not fix the issue they they will not pay for the radio and the dealer does not want to get stuck with it. Reading these posts where a gentleman replaced his radio with a buddies and it still failed worries me.
