hey whats up guys!!!!!! I have finally decided to put hid in my fog lights......those color aftermarket bulbs are BullS@#t..(putco brand) a waste of $30.00..anyways i am purchasing a set of hid 880 6k and was wondering if u guys change the plastic fog lense to glass (not sure if the plastic can withstand the heat from the hid) if any changes were made please inform me......does anyone know where to purchase the glass fog lense... thanks

 

From what I've read about these, you have to get a low-temp HID kit because anything over 6000k [I think] will melt it. I could be wrong, but that's what I found online somewhere.
What year model? They might make some for newer year models, so knowing the year could help.

I think the wattage which produces the heat is what you need to be concerned with instead of the color temperature which is an indication of the color of the lite.
