Default Front Impact Sensor Connector Does Not Match New Sensor

I am working on replacing the front impact sensor in my 2007 Suburban, but every new sensor has a little grooved flange inside the sensor receiver but mine is smooth and my connector is a smooth oval as well without any ridges. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what the solution is. Thanks.
