I have a 2000 Chevy Suburban with power memory seats. The two front seats move forward when braking and settle back as you stop. Total travel is around 1/4 inch. Both adjust forward and backward as they should, but they have this free play in them. What do I do? Thanks in advance!

 

I am having a similar problem. Except there is play with the back of the seat, not the seat itself. At random times, the seat back will just lose its recline.

Where should the troubleshooting begin?
