Default Front seat electric controls

We bought our 2005 Yukon Denali in 2010. Both front seats had initially two levers to actuate seat and back positions. On this, all four were broken off.

We found that we could operate the seat controls by pushing the nubs, and on one side I had to drill a larger access hole to stick a finger in to do this; luckily, we don't need to adjust seats too often, except for occasional forward/back of the driver seat.

At that time, I found that replacement switches for these were not available, one had to purchase the entire seat circuit board. And of course, there were mirror image units for the passenger seat, and these were quite costly.

So question is: have others experienced similar, and do folks think that previous owners' kids snapped these off playing with them, or they broke off in normal operation???

Thanks, GM. And no - the "seat memory" button for Driver1 and Driver2 doesn't work, so we can't use that.

Did you try the U Pick junk yards? Their prices are pretty reasonable.

For whatever reason, the JY's are loaded with older Suburbans and Yukons, plenty of parts. Answer is obvious, if you don't want to buy a new switch, that means you have to buy used as "oldchevy said.
