Hi People, I have a 97 tahoe 4x4 with a 350 vortec. last winter i left it outside for four month in sub zero temps while I headed south to enjoy some sunshine. When I parked it it ran nearly perfect but when I came back I tried to start it and it turned over and over and over just fine but no start. towed it in and had the following replaced,
Plugs/wires
distributer/ rotar
all injectors
MAF
all Oxygen sensors
EGR
and some stuff I cant remember,
The truck runs but barely, idles rough, 4mpg, check engine light on at start then blinks when i start driving and the exhaust smells strongly of gas.
The fuel pump/pressure tested out ok. Phewww. just about done. So any ideas people? i've dumped $900 into this thing to make it barely drivable.
Thanks in advance

Did you drop the gas tank, and drain/clean it? Did you put any fuel stabilizer in before you left it?

No didn't do any of those things, I've been able to drive it since then so I've went through a couple tanks of gas since then so I don't think there's anything wrong with the tank or fuel...

That, and I'd just suggest disconnect the battery, for a few minutes, then hook it back up
