I've also noticed when I first put the key in the on position and I hear the fuel pump priming, it's sounding kinda of weird sometimes.

My 09 has 35,000 on it and it just did the same thing this past weekend, for the first time twice!
Both times I tried to start it up it just kept turning over, wouldn't start the first try. Second try it would start and show a check engine light (both times). After a couple of starts and stops of the ignition the check engine light would clear. I was planning on taking It to the dealer this Monday. But it stopped acting up. It hasn't given me and trouble starting or any check engine light.
This kinda sucks

Yeah.....I never got a check engine light like you did. I'm going to bring mine back in next week as well. Make sure you post up the results of what the dealer does... (if anything)

Laterfoolz,

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. If this issue does come up again and you do take it to the dealership, please let me know. I would like to see if your dealer gets this issue taken care of.

Elizabeth and AZSCTACO
I talked to my service manager (Darrel at American Chevrolet)
and I made an appointment for this coming Monday.
I explained the issue to him and he said that even though the check engine light wasn't on, he should be able to pull up the trouble codes.
I'll keep you post on the outcome of this.

**Update**

Just wanted to give an update in case others experience this problem.

I showed the tech the video of my vehicle extended cranking. They tested the fuel pump multiple times and found it bleeding back while hot. They replaced the intank fuel pump module and all is good. We'll see over time but it seems to be good for now.

Well here's the update on my CEL and starting problem.
The service tech couldn't find anything wrong with the issue.
They couldnt get my Tahoe to NOT start or find any previouse CEL (check engine light) codes. At the time of the starting issues I had been using E85 for a couple months straight. The only station near my home selling E85 was working on the pumps last week.
I had to take it to dealer with regular unleaded.
I think the E85 is the cause of my Tahoes starting issues.
Damn cheap corn fuel
