Need some help please
Was wondering whereabouts the fuel pump is located on a 2001 suburban 4wd 1500 LS fuel tank
I know its in the the tank
But where is it located on the top of the tank?
In the center, or towards the front or rear of the tank
Any advice is greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum.

I know you have to drop the tank and get at it from the top. But the pump itself is on the bottom, I think.

 

the bed will need removed or tank dropped but the sending unit is usually roughly centered on the top of the tank

 

what bed? it is a suburban. drop the straps and remove the filler neck and disconnect the vapor lines and electrical connections.
