Default Gas Mileage E85 Then Reg Gas 07 LT

I put a full tank of E85 and watched my mileage go from 18 to 13 mpg. I switched back to regulat 87 gas about 20 tanks ago and still can not get it back from 13.5 mpg. Any thoughts? It's a 07 LT 4 wheel drive and run it in 2 wheel most of the time not auto position.

reset your mpg setting.....also you can fill up tank and reset trip meter divi up by gallons needed to refill next time you get more gas...not scientific but it works

Thanks for the reply, I am dividing the miles driven by the gallons at fill up as the one on the dash is off by 1.2 mpg consistantly.

Will disconnecting the battery for a period of time reset the onboard computer?

Mkae sure your comparing apples to apples, use the gallons used setting in the DIC to do the calculations and I have found them to be pretty close, if you use the amount you filled up with whch can be over a gallon more because you fill up the neck, try only filling up to when the pump shuts off and don't give it that extra neck fill.
I always reset my trip, gallons used and average economyat each fill up....
I have never tried the E85 since I hear it is so poor on the MPG for the cost....

Tried E85 1 more time, now I have to clean the injectores due to bad tank full of "stuff" causing idle issues.
